Peter Keil is a German artist who focuses primarily on abstract expressionism. Keil painted with some of the greats, including Joan Miró, Pablo Picasso, and Andy Warhol, to name a few.

This is a beautiful and unique piece executed on cloth. Oftentimes, Peter painted on any material he had because he couldn’t afford canvas at the time. This piece is from his “Junge Wilde” collection he created in Berlin in the early 80s through the 90s. It is signed and dated “P. Keil ‘97” in the lower right corner.

This piece was purchased directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.

The art is in good condition with typical signs of age and wear.
