This sculptural set showcases the architectural vocabulary that made DIA a favorite of designers in the 1980s and 1990s. Thick beveled glass tops appear to float above satin pewter-finished steel frames accented with polished metallic sphere finials. Beneath the glass, intersecting geometric steel members and the signature stepped triangular motif create a composition that is as visually engaging from above as it is functional.

The clean geometry and refined materials embody the sophisticated Postmodern aesthetic that continues to resonate with collectors today.

This set was purchased new from Huffman Koos and includes the original DIA sales brochure identifying the collection as “Frank’s Window.” The brochure lists original retail prices of $1,019 for the cocktail table and $859 for the matching end table, and original retailer inventory labels remain on the frames.
