Matsuoka is a 150+ year old furniture company headquartered in Japan and makes unique, high quality furniture pieces. Features of this console include a hardwood frame clad in Celebes Ebony - a rare African hardwood with natural graining. There is a middle shelve which mirrors the top in size and design. The Celebes Ebony is naturally a dark reddish brown color which is captured by a high gloss hard varnish coating on the piece. This versatile piece is ideal as a sofa table, foyer table, dining room console, etc. The back of the console is also Celebes Ebony and is finished albeit in a matt gloss making this piece a candidate for "floating" within a given room. This piece is in new, 1st quality condition with no imperfections. It has had no previous owner. See less
