Low iron glass bowl has a wonderful clarity and lack of blue or green tone that is common when a glass object or sheet of glass thickens. The bowl is quite thick (½" thick walls) that creates a strong presence when placed as a center piece on a table or counter or when it is lit from behind.
The bowl which is quite large (13" wide by 4. ¾" high) can be used in practical ways such as holding fruit or other objects.
Work is signed by the artist, Jesse Reece. Jesse Reece is a New York based glass artist whose work has sold at several important auctions over the last 20 years. His work is highly collectible.
