A printed 3D necklace by Doug Bucci.

Glass filled Nylon printed as one interlinked piece and dyed.
This piece was exhibited in the 'crafted: objects in flux' exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 2016.
It was first exhibited in an exhibition entitled: 'Dubh - Dialogues in Black' at the Irish Historical Society in New York, NY.
It was subsequently exhibited at several shows in the US and Europe. (Exhibition history available upon request.)
The Philadelphia Museum of Art purchased an variant of this necklace in 2011 for its collection.
That variant was shown in an exhibition entitled 'Channeling Nature' at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Doug Bucci is a pioneer in Technology-Age American jewelry design and is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
