1950’s French Bentwood Dark Bentwood Dining Chair – Large Quantity Available. Extremely good batch of chairs from the Alsace region, we think they are made by Baumann but are not sure as they are not marked. The chairs are from the late fifties, a classic ox bar back in a rich oak colour. The front legs are very elegant and have a superb turned detail into the seats. Strong practical chairs full of character. Seat height 46 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
