Ben chairs were originally produced in Frome Somerset before the company closed in the eighties. We bough a large batch from a community hall in the midlands and have had them gently restored and reupholstered. This is on of their classic chairs, the structure is made of beech, they have a deep comfortable squab seat with a curved ply back. The fabric is a soft linen cotton velvet. They have been upholstered to UK crib 5 fire regulations. Seat height 46cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
