Beautifully executed hand carved marble buddha head fragment of Quan Yin. The youthful face is peaceful and serine framed by an intricately carved headdress. A striking art object with fine quality workmanship. Sits on custom acrylic base stand.
This is an older piece most likely late 19th century and of Asian origin, possibly China. Very heavy weighing over 60 pounds. Possibly started out as part of full body statue.
Marble bust by itself is 16" tall X 7" wide X 8" deep, overall height with bust on acrylic stand 19.5" tall x 10" x 10".
