Originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, a rare type of chaput kilim rug style now entering our Antique & Vintage selections. Characterized by fine detailing with the colors within the polychromatic stripes, the light & refreshing piece welcomes a departure from traditional Kilims for something so modern for its period. Existing in good condition, a 7x9 panel woven style flatweave enjoying exclusivity in color, variation & weave alike.
While reds, greens and crisp whites radiate, this piece is among the most spectral, collectible flat weaves in the collection. As arresting and joyful as it is decorative, among the personal curations of R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal.
