We believe this to be an early version of Wieners work, falling right at the middle of the 20th century.

The use of malachite is rare in his oeuvre, and this piece is a particularly fine example of the dual purpose silver brooch/pendants. (The attached bail allows the brooch to double as a pendant on a necklace.)

Simply a wonderful brooch!

The brooch is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some very light edge wear, some very fine and light surface scratches throughout, and other signs of light wear consistent with age.
