Founded in 1926, Brueton has been known for decades for crafting extremely high quality pieces in both design and material execution, working in New York City with the best designers and fabricators available. J. Wade Beam is well known for utilizing dense and weighty materials and exploring the nature of gravity and balance both visually and physically in his practice. This table features stunning use of balance, gravity, and scale. The square glass top fits seamlessly into the angular chrome base, which hugs the lip of the glass and then veers downwards meeting the floor and creating a dynamic geometric relationship and intersection of planer elements. The chrome is beautifully polished, a great contrast to the transparency of the glass top. This lovely cocktail table will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
