Wonderful, English Victorian Tole Trunk with original faux bois painted finish. some minor scratched in the paint but over all very nice trunk, great as a coffee table or stacked as a side table. great storage! Top is almost level, very decorative. remains of old travel label on one side.
later painted blue interior. I have carefully beeswaxed this piece to protect the painted finish and preserve it.
