He also took up Las Positas College Art Residency in Livermore CA, USA and The Vermont Studio Center in Vermont, USA and was recently selected for an Art Residency at the University of Udaipur-Rajasthan, India. Turro belongs to the fertile generation of Cuban Contemporary Art, which includes names such as Yoan Capote, Los Carpinteros, Carlos Garaicoa, Aimeé García and El Kcho, among others. He has exhibited in several countries including Cuba, Germany and the USA.
