Beautiful hand knotted Baluchi rug. It is a really high quality famous Baluchi tribal carpet, all hand spun with very soft white sheep wool. Rug was probably woven for someone important and wealthy in the village or tribe. The carpet has other interesting natural colors as well, and possibly some early natural dye. Overall a very good color palette suitable for many decorating styles and a very nice sized vintage rug in good condition for a good price.

Baluchi carpets (also called Baluch or Beluchi carpets) are handmade carpets originally made by Baluch nomads, living near the border of Afghanistan. These nomads also occur in a smaller scale in Bahrain and in the Punjab province of India. About 70% live in the main part in Pakistan and are divided into two groups; Sulaimani and Makrani.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:
- Does not arrive

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
