signed in madrid, in 1993, this work by antonio josé murado synthesizes the aspects of expressionist figuration, a trend to which the artist will be related specifically during the nineties. We see how he represents a landscape tending towards abstraction, in which the color green stands out, a tonality used to a great extent by the painter during that period. Renouncing matter, the artist will give rise to works characterized by pictorial experimentation and play with representation; blurring the boundaries between pictorial space and image, with subtle and veiled results that exude dreaminess and romanticism. It is precisely in this context that the work we present here is framed.
since 1990, his production is based on large format works that combine figuration and landscape painting, increasingly tending towards abstraction. As we already mentioned, his work is characterized by pictorial experimentation, being frequent the game between abstraction and figuration since, as the author himself points out: "i have always thought that there is not much difference between the abstract and the figurative and i do not think that this is a very accurate classification for painting. It seems to me that everything is abstract and everything is figurative. My new paintings, in particular, are a mixture of both. The subject matter is abstract and the treatment is figurative in the sense that there is no representation of the subject matter. This piece has an attribution mark,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
