Rome is a beautiful artwork realized by Jan Peter Verdussen in 1741. In good condition except for some pencil marks and traces of sealing wax on the back and some diffused foxings. Hand-signed and dated on the lower left and right margin. passepartout included ( 34 x 49 cm). The artwork represents the scenery of the roman landscape on the Tevere river in pencil and watercolor on brown paper. The artwork is depicted skillfully through confident and soft strokes with well-balanced composition. Jan Peeter Verdussen (1700 - 1763) was a Flemish painter, draftsman and printmaker. He is known mainly for his battle scenes, incidents of camp life and equestrian paintings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
