* by the artist Ronald E. Kent
* Ron Kent (1931 - 2008) became known as an American wood turner and lived in Honolulu, Hawaii. He became particularly famous for his translucent bowls made of Icelandic Norfolk pine. The organic forms of his sculptural works captivate with their futuristic appearance and aesthetic silhouette.
* His works can be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Musée du Louvre, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Honolulu Museum of Art, among others.
