This is a stunning antique embroidery fire screen. An English, Bamboo frame fireside guard with a lovely colorful tapestry crewelwork screen, dating to the Regency period, circa 1830.
Truly one of a kind Exceptional Chinoiserie embroidery fire place screen with superb crewelwork needlepoint of a distinctive floral pattern with a squirrel, fox, and goat nestled within an attractive natural patinaed bamboo frame. Pierced bamboo fretwork along the top with matching bamboo sides throughout.
Raised upon dashing bamboo trestle legs.
