Delicate and sensitive little painting.
by French female artist Jane Nérée-Gautier (1877-1948).
After settling in Paris, where she took lessons from Géo Weiss (who became her husband in 1910) at the Académie de Passy, she specialized in the genre of still life very early on. She regularly exhibited at various Salons in Paris.
