Antique pottery / ceramic figurine "Gentleman with monocle". Design by Elvir Otto & Eduard Stellmacher, about 1900-1901. Made by Amphora Austria (Riessner Stellmacher & Kessel).
It is generally difficult to get a work done by Elvir Otto! And also this charming model is absolutely rare.
Below the pedestal is: Amphora Austria, 63 5015
There is a glued break on the arm and neck. Both parts are stable. Otherwise the condition is very good.
