A pair of original Knoll Parallel bar lounge chairs and matching end table, designed by Florence Knoll in the 1960s. Featuring a classic chrome-plated steel base and clean lines, each chair features original Knoll red wool hopsack upholstery. The Parallel series, Model No. 51, was specifically designed for corporate clients such as IBM and CBS. Knoll began manufacturing the series in 1955 and ended its production in 1973. Priced as a pair with accompanying side table. The pair was carefully stored in a dry, smoke-free home. Wear to upholstered surfaces and chip on corner of glass tabletop shown in photos.
