The Pop Art poster print is published by Achenbach art edition, Dusseldorf and the te Neues publishing Company, New York. in cooperation with The Estate and The Andy Warhol foundation for Visual Arts.
The screen print has been sealed with the original stamp of the AW foundation.
printed in Germany in 1993 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an artwork image originally created by Warhol in 1970 titled " Flowers ",
It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern black wood frame , with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
It is in excellent vintage condition. The poster print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age and very light signs of handling.
The official " AW " Foundation seal of authenticity is printed on the print.

Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 )
son of Czech immigrants, began his career in advertising. He was mainly involved in designing record covers, weather maps for television and Christmas cards. In 1959 he exhibited his artwork for the first time at the Bodley Gallery in New York. He invented the simple but time-consuming technique of the 'blotted line' himself, with which he created his characteristic illustrations. In addition to the record cover of The Velvet Underground & Nico, the screen prints of Campbell's Soup and the portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Jackie Kennedy and Elisabeth Taylor are now world famous.
He is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide . He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objects and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.

The iconic Flowers artworks were first exhibited at the famous Leo Castelli gallery in New York City in 1964. Warhol experimented with color, layering and shadows, using different color schemes and painting flowers in a multitude of vibrant palettes.
