President James Buchanan was in office and sterling silver hollowware was only used by the elite. This is a classic example of sterling from that period. Very understated with only a gadroon around the spout, neck and base. The handles’ curves mimic the spout on the opposite side. We’ve taken all the scratches, dings and dents out and brought it back to its former glory. A rather large and elegant piece such as this is fit for a King or Queen. See less
