Charming set of 8 1950's matchbooks hand decorated with funny lady faces complete with red lipstick and felt hats. A closer look reveals the clever use of buttons to create the faces. New and unused in the original box...made by Famous Candles & Stationery of Newark, New Jersey. They were probably intended for ladies luncheons or bridge parties but would always be great as a hostess gift.
Very good previously owned though unused condition. The original box shows a little age but the matches look great.
The matches in the original box measure 4" diameter x .75" tall. Each matchbook measures 1.75" tall x .75" wide x .38" deep.
