Dynamic, expressive rendition of a jazz trio by San Francisco artist Michael William Eggleston (American, 20th century). There are three abstracted figures in this piece - a guitar player, a drummer, and a pianist - each with their instruments. Splashes of color and swirling lines create a shifting, dynamic feel to the piece, as if the music itself is represented by the lively shapes.
Unsigned, but acquired with a collection of his works.
