On the design:

The rug is made with a new yarn Josh Nazmiyal is introducing, which has a notable weight and sheen to it in thoughtful colors. The beige-brown and orange underscore geometric patterns in an almost archaic, tribal style sometimes seen in antique Oushak rugs. Keen eyes will note taupe and ivory colors at play among the earth tones, neutrals and light-meets-rich colorway at work—evoking a regal classic style in a fresh new light.

The weaving technique completes the old-world look of the pattern with high quality construction. The design is complementary to the rustic, warm and transitional whimsy of Oushak rugs that distinguishes them from other, more traditional Oriental rug provenances. See less
