A lovely mix of great colors and textures on this very old handmade Crazy Quilt.
This quilt is unique, 1 of a kind, made with scraps, zigzag cross stitches, embroidered hearts, bird, spade, and initials.
Considered a 3/4 size.
Several of the initials, and dates could mean it was made over a period of years and by different family members.
Backside is a red lined silk-like material with normal wear for the age. Discoloration. Back lining fabric is frayed on the edges in many places. Knotted to attach the lining to the front patchwork.
Weighs about 5 pounds.
