British Artist Roger Charles Desoutter was born in 1923. A number of his works have been exhibited at The Royal Society of Marine Artists since 1974. A major influence of his was Alexander Jacob (born in 1876). Desoutter's paintings are held in private collections in the United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, Spain and Germany.
