Naomi Lorne (1902-1964) American Impressionist oil on canvas painting entitled "Twin Oak Vista". Signed lower left, Naomi Lorne and retains a paper exhibition or gallery label on the reverse upper stretcher from Central Galleries, Inc., NYC. Lorne has rendered a heavily wooded area in the foreground with a body of water running in the background. Quiet and serene landscape painting dating circa 1940-50. The framing treatment consists of a simple gold wood molding. The work is in good overall condition and could use a very light cleaning due to age. No visible holes or punctures in the canvas. There is some very minor paint loss by the right margin. Some light crazing and craquelure of the paint surface.
The overall approximate dimensions with frame are 14.5" wide x 18.5" high x 1.5" deep. The canvas measurements are 12" wide x 16".
