These Chinese oil paintings were painted for export or tourism in the Mid Century and graced many homes during that era. The detail is nice and the colors are vibrant. One source states that these paintings were done in workshops for tourism and the signatures were made up. At any rate this is a fun piece to add to a gallery wall.
The original frame is wood and finished to look like scorched bamboo.
