Piece is a bronze or brass metal with a round black marble base with hand-cut inlayed marble and other stones. Pietra Dura is an inlay technique using cut, fitted, and highly polished colored stones to create images. It's considered a decorative art. The stonework is assembled together precisely and the contact between each section is practically invisible with a flat surface. Hook at top for watch.
