Hand knotted in wool circa 1970-1980, this 9×12 vintage Persian rug is from an exciting new collection in Rug & Kilim’s classics curations.
On the Design:
The rug is overdyed and antique washed to give it a distressed look, with gorgeous saturated colors like that of its rich brown undertone. Keen eyes will further admire black and dark blue accents, as well as muted patterns inspired from classic floral motifs of similar provenance.
