1950’s original french tabac opal glass pendant lamp – single. Stunning original pendant lamp from a tabac in france. The opal shade is the original glass and the galleries and fittings are spun aluminium. All our lamps have been carefully restored and all electrical components have been removed and replaced with modern european ce standard components to bs en 60598. Each lamp is individually tested and labelled to bs en 60598. Included: the lamp comes completely wired and ready to install. The lamp is fitted with a standard e27 threaded lamp holder for which a wide range of modern and vintage style filament bulbs are widely available. We do not currently sell bulbs and recommend led bulbs 6w maximum. Listing is for one lamp. The rod is a fixed length and the lamp hangs at a total length of 90cm. The glass sphere is 30cm diameter. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
