Designed by Danish architect-designer Bent Karlby and produced by Lyfa in the 1960s. Trenta is a multi-layered pendant light with a perspex (plastic) core that produces glare-free but effective illumination. This is with out a doubt one of the rarer lights by Karlby.
The “Trenta” was produced in three different colours (as shown in the original advertisement reproduced), of which this is the dark red version. This piece has an attribution mark,
