Hand-knotted in wool, circa 1960 - 1970, this 7x10 vintage Zeki Müren Art Deco rug features a European postmodern influence, and an air of French Art Deco in its dynamic geometry
On the Design:
As a one-of-a-kind piece by Zeki Müren, this rug explores the concept of depth through superimposed patterns very finely done for this scale. The geometric patterns in red and gold protruding from the middle, gives a sense of movement and fluidity to the entire pattern, thus resulting in a visually appealing composition. Connoisseurs may admire this piece which is inspired by a European postmodern influence and French Art Deco, as one of the most collectible works we’ve curated lately. It is in a somewhat larger size than many other pieces of the precious few that remain from his attributed works today.
Condition:
This Vintage Zeki Müren rug further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its construction is like few of this artist’s works with full pile and exceptional quality—a very rare find.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
