This basket has a tight weave round pattern and the rim is a light wood band. This beautifully aged basket has a few flaws but is in great condition considering its age. These baskets were traditionally used for gathering and transporting vegetables, fish, and other food products. The baskets of this nature were made in the late 1800s and early 1900s. See less
