Rare pair of the quite impressive Bumling table lamps in aluminium/chrome finish. Both lamps are labeled.
The Bumling lamp series was designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan in Åhus, Sweden end of the 1960s.
Anders Pehrson was born in 1912 and studied engineering before becoming design director for household appliances and lighting giant Philips ,between 1952 and 1963. He then took over the Swedish lighting brand Ateljé Lyktan. He was the owner, manager and artistic director until he retired in 1978. The Bumling series which exists as floor-, wall- and table-lamps as well as pendants. Another big success for its designs was the Supertube series. This piece has an attribution mark,
