Hedi Schoop emigrated from Germany in 1940 and started her ceramics studio named Hedi Schoop Art Creations. She produced these figurines in a number of colors but mostly blue. This unique pair is blue in the dresses of the young women but the parasol and sleeves of this pair are decorated with pink flowers and gold accents. This decoration continues on the back of the parasols so this pair can impress from every angle. Beautiful for an open display case or room divider. A wonderful splash of color and whimsey in an otherwise austere or modern decor. Hard to part with these two but am happy to share this delightful duo. See less
