Iconic pk31 three-seater leather sofa by poul kjærholm, ekc denmark 1958.
this sofa is from the first edition produced by e.kold christensen until fritz hansen takes over the production in 1970.
the heavy and high quality brushed steel structure of the sofa is typical for kjærholms designs and matches perfectly with the cognac leather cushions which allow a great seating comfort.
the pk 31 sofa looks also great from behind with its leather covered back and parts of the brushed steel structure being visible.
the sofa is a prime example of the remarkable ability of poul kjærholm to match minimalist design with high quality materials which makes it still nowadays one of the most sought after sofas on the market.
