This rare teak sideboard was designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik in Denmark circa 1960’s. Made from teak, this elegant and minimalistic design features intricate grain patterns throughout with a lovely patine of the years.
Two sets of doors on the right and middle opening onto shelves while the left has three dovetailed drawers with hidden grooves. The extended length (94.5 inches) is rare and compliments a long wall space perfectly. The sideboard 'box' sits on a geometric sled base. A very clean design.
The back has a partial label marked “ASBJØRN-MOBLER A/S / SKINDERGADE 28-32”
Especially considering the age of the sideboard, the condition is excellent.

Structurally sound. Original hardware and finish. Overall, very minor surface scratches, marks, nicks/chips, and abrasions consistent with age and use; some minor scattered finish wear/losses. The top has a few small burn marks which as first I thought it was just the wood grain. The before-mentioned blemishes are almost inconspicuous because the teak wood is so vibrant and well conditioned. I've owned it for several years and have used regularly an appropriate lotion for fine woods. See images. less
