Antique 19th century N.W. Persian Rug with Geometrics in Terracotta Red, Royal Blue, brown & Green. Keivan Woven Arts / W22-1201, country of origin / type: Iran / N.W. Persian, circa 1890.
Measures: 5'2 x 7'0
This late 19th century antique Northwest Persian rug features a background of geometrics and flora in various reds, blues, greens field flanked by border of chocolate. The elegant medallions in the field consists of a free-flowing pattern, reminiscent of geometric florals. The red, ivory, green, cream, yellow, brown and blue, seen throughout imbue this piece with lots beautiful color. This rug is truly a beautiful early piece to behold, in remarkably good condition for its age.
