Entirely handmade by the artist. Title: golden waves. Edition 15 + 2 AP Measures: diameter 500 mm height 550 mm. diameter 19.685, height 21.653 inches. Time leaves its mark on everything. Its signs are different for each and every one of us, but always tangible. To the touch, an old trunk can bring back all manner of sensations. By closing our eyes we can try to imagine its long life and the events that have shaped it. The golden waves of this table have been created to give this very sensation. The ability to imagine the energy that has shaped this piece simply by touching it. The table is made entirely out of flame-worked brass, the legs are burnished and the top polished. The ability to create objects lies in the tradition in our hands. In ancient times, they were our only means of realising our thoughts. Artisan is the one with this ability to breathe life into the raw material. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
