Victor DEMANET (1895-1964).
Antique archer.
Sculpture in green patinated bronze, signed on the terrace, base in black and white veined marble.

Victor Joseph Ghislain Demanet, born in Givet on February 3, 1895 and died in Ixelles on February 7, 1964, was a Belgian sculptor and medalist.
A pupil of Désiré Hurbin and a member of the Salon des artistes français, Victor Demanet won an honorable mention there in 1925, and in 1929 exhibited the plaster cast of Sa majesté le roi Léopold II, a statue erected in Namur1, in Arlon, a statue of Albert Ier.
He won a bronze medal at the 1935 Salon.
