I was told there was a piece of glass that fit into the metal corner tabs to allow this charming little piece to be used as a decorative and functional table. Inlaid medallion and decorative molding adds to the character of this distinctive piece. Needlepoint is in good condition with the exception of one small area where there is a small slit. I have not attempted to fix or restore this piece and will defer that to the professionals or new owner. Simply charming is all you can say! See less
