Hand-knotted in wool circa 1950-1960, this vintage 7x12 Moroccan rug is believed to hail from the Azilal tribe.
On the Design:
This rug carries a warm vibe with red, orange and white lending a uniquely subdued series of geometric patterns. Keen eyes will note lozenge diamonds, crosses, and other primitivist Berber motifs seldom seen in this more quiet, cozy style that still has the playful beauty of Moroccan weaving to it.
