A stunning English travel jewelry box dating to circa 1840, crafted in the British Empire style. This richly detailed piece is veneered in burled yew and amboyna, accented with intricate floral inlays of silver, mother-of-pearl, and ebonized wood. The hinged lid opens to reveal a pleated red velvet interior with a bevel-edged oval mirror and a removable tray with multiple compartments.
