The size of this piece makes it so versatile! It is compact, the top lifts up for storage, so you can use it for blankets and linens or your sweaters and off season clothing. It would also look great at the foot of a twin or double bed, used in an entry way as a bench, or as a clever coffee table.

This piece is so sweet! It features three panels with lovely hand carved details at the front, more details at the top and sides, and four square carved legs

An acquisition from an estate in Pasadena, CA, it likely hails from the UK, and dates to the mid 20th or late 19th century. It has a very gothic and hand-crafted feel to it.

It is in extraordinary antique/vintage condition. There are scars and an overall patina, which are mostly pictured, and really add to the charm. It could use a light sanding and re-finish if you'd like, or a DIYer could have a blast giving it a custom paint job transforming it into whatever fits your style needs.
Structurally, it is very well built and sound.
