A transfer printed bird themed pattern in dark blue on a creamy ironstone ground with a scalloped rim. Designed by Pierre Mallet, in the Aesthetic Movement taste, with the Japonisme influence popular at the time.. The series shows different images of birds in flora, often with insects.
