Amazing 19th century Console table. Spectacular patina, rustic with alligatored black and red lacquer remnants to most of the structure. Wonderful foliate carving to the front drawer plate with intersecting leaves forming a heart shaped crest to the top center and both sides horizontally. Lotus flower blossoms adorn the lower front apron center of each panel. Top is mostly worn to the wood. The cabinet is original polished only with bees wax. Solid and stable like a rock. This is a truly wonderful antique table, a prize to behold. A fantastic piece that will continue to serve for another century.
Style wise this piece can warm any setting even the most modern. In very good condition being an original piece with a rustic patina.
