U2 copper brass suspension, jan garncarek dimensions: 56 x 10 x 10 cm (fixture height: made to order) material: copper brass handcrafted by jan garncarek. Signed also available in different finishes: - brass (waxed) - nickel coating - copper coating - age brass - black painted - white painted information: weight:6 kg / 13 lb voltage: 120v, 240v lamping: 1 x gu 10, max 60w, 50-60 hz tightness class: ip 21 certificates: ce approved, rohs heavy vertical form. The lamp is the result of the designer's battlefield fascination from his childhood. The designer came from a family with a military tradition. Bullet shells were the first material jan garncarek processed while learning the basics of metallurgy. The designer refers to the shape of the shell. However, he does not identify it with the cruelty of war. The object captures the fascination of the shape and material, completely out of context of war. Just as only an unaware child is able to perceive reality and its beauty without prejudice. Jan garncarek is an important contemporary designer, graduated from the academy of fine arts in warsaw. He gained extra qualifications at politecnico di milano. He has acquired professional experience in the design society. He took part in projects such as: design of visual information for the museum of the history of polish jews, interior design project of the polish cultural institute in tel aviv, space arrangement of the presidential palace of poland, interior design project of the polish embassy in berlin and skopje, modernization of the malachowski's square in warsaw. His process of designing is the state of researching, discovering and being curious of the world, making insightful observations and drawing sensible conclusions. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
